Thanks to everyone who came out last night to Bailey's in Canton! Although we had to change the venue from the original plans, everyone still had a great time catching up. Special thanks to the management and waitstaff at Bailey's who did a great job accommodating us.

Do you want a BHS '02 class reunion? BUY YOUR TICKETS! We need 70 more tickets to be purchased by August 24th in order for the reunion to continue on schedule. If you are planning on going, please purchase your tickets ASAP so we can relive the glory days together. Unfortunately, if we can't meet this minimum, the reunion will be cancelled.

Hotel Information

For those that are interested, a block of rooms have been reserved at the Double Tree by Hilton for Saturday, September 15th. We received a discounted rate of $89 for your choice of a 1-bedded room (king bed) or 2-bedded room (double size beds). An online reservation link will be available in the next week or so. *PLEASE NOTE: The rooms are offered at a first come, first serve basis. Reunion Details

The Belleville High School class of 2002 reunion will be on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 6pm - 11pm at Andiamo Novi. Tickets are $60 per person. This includes a buffet dinner with a choice of two entrees, a four hour open bar, and dessert. 

Andiamo is at 42705 Grand River Ave. Novi, MI 48375.  I am very excited about this venue. It has a great open dining area so we're not crowded when we're eating. We also have an entire upstairs area with an additional large bar and VIP lounge room, so dust off your night-on-the-town clothes! I hope to have a method of payment set up within the next couple of weeks and anticipate that the options for payment will be PayPal or mailing a check.  (I will post again when this is launched.) A special thanks to Rita Arnaout-Price and Chelsea (Rysztak) Moreau for helping me venue search, especially the latter who is a price-negotiating queen!

The winners are...

Ok, we have winners for the reunion: September (it won't be Labor Day weekend), semi-formal dinner with spouses/significant others, no kids. Faculty invited, but not other classes. Open bar (which the ticket price will reflect). More details to follow when the final date and place are chosen. Thanks for voting!

Reunion planning kick off survey

Hi BHS Class of 2002! Let's get the ball rolling for our ten year reunion: I will plan for the style of reunion that receives the most votes. Use the polls posted below to vote (you can vote using a Google, Twitter, or Yahoo ID) and please remember that voting closes on 2/28/12, 12:00pm. A Facebook page called "Belleville High School Class of 2002" has been created - the URL for this blog will be posted there. If we decide on an event that requires payment, I will set up a payment method on this blog. Spread the word to all to our classmates, we'd love to see as many people as possible!
